xc is over, thanks to everyone who made it such a great season, track in january.....oh yes.....
school is finally starting to level off, which is nice timing with the ending of xc, like having a whole other day in one

haven't updated in a loooonnnnggg time so here goes guys......................
GLYC '05 to the death....I had the time of my time, i won't forget the ppl i met or places i went. "Central Eastern" europe as we like to call it is one of the most beautiful places on earth and i couldn't pick a better crazy bunch of ppl to spend 2 weeks there with. egypt's LGM was awesome, emma was a great FA. our group was an odd bunch but we always found a way to have fun. and i cannot forget our bus partner china - although Z and occasionally eric were the only ppl that sat up front with cool ppl, u guys were cool.

thanks to everyone that made the trip special, u know who you are ;-). i had a ton of good times on this trip, most of which with Z and ed, or "zed" as they were known, u guys are the funniest 2 ppl i have met in a long long time. melissa, i wont forget our adventure for a long, long time. neither will i forget the sleeping pics on bus (lauranne :-) ) word up to my man OMAR, everyone has to give it up to omar. love all you guys, hope to hear from all of you soon, and ed hopefully ill see u this weekend

dont think i forgot about u guys at home, as much as i miss europe, i do miss chilling in bk. im in a calc class from 1 - 2:30 everyday so ill be seeing u guys soon. i brought back shirts and stuff for u guys so you'll be getting those soon.
and after getting aquated back to my sports news i must say....
the yanks, jets, and knicks are getting it together
the yanks are finally putting it together and have taken the 8 1/2 game gap they faced in the AL east a month ago and cut it to a 1/2 a game. with all the issues and injuries they had to face, taking 3 of 4 from the sox this weekend is definately the turning point of the season, they'll finally put it togther once the pitching comes back (we will miss chien-ming wang however)
the jets had a good draft and are looking closer and closer that they will sign ty law which will fill a huge gap in the secondary. they did lose starting OT kareem mackenzie and nose tackle jason fergeson to free agency, they made a few good additions and had a good draft. '05 is looking good
my beloved knicks. isiah has another window of opportunity to snag larry brown if not as a coach but in the front office once his buyout in detriot is complete. with a lineup this year consisting of
marbury/robinson
Q-rich/crawford/penny
t-thomas/ariza
sweetney/rose/taylor/williams
james/frye
with a trade pending with thomas and penny's expiring contracts, i def think this team can make some noise. lets hope '05 is a step in the right direction

NYSAIS was amazing
we didn't beat poly, but it was an amazing race. everyone was under 55.5 and ran a personal record. we shattered the school record at Penn by 4 seconds from a 3:42.92 to a 3:38.93. we gave it everything we had and it was the best way to end a great season. the best part about it had to be Poly coming over to us afterward and saying how much of a surprise we were. We led for 3 of the 4 legs and pretty much all the Ivy league schools thought we came out of nowhere. anyone who knows about or has run packer track knows about how packer is not exactly looked at as an equal by the Ivys, the best part of NYSAIS was the respect we gained. Although we lose devin, i hope we can keep making that school record faster and faster, 3:35 anyone? its almost impossible to imagine that we ran a 3:53 the first time we ran togther. It has been an honor and a privilege to have run with devin, eric, and chris. |

AP tommorrow, not really nervous, kinds happy im getting it over with.....8 AM
plan for NYSAIS? go for the gold. talone has canceled the 4 x 100 and limited everyone on the 4 x 4 team to 1 other event. everything we have will go into winning 1 race. Poly and dalton are the biggest competetion, but we're in striking distance. Gold or bust. the boys are going to nysais basically for that one race.....no pressure.
I really need this final days before finals review are easier than the last couple days, i seriously need a break.
on the whole.....i need a pick-me-up
